🎣 Cold Lake is famous for lake trout fishing, and some anglers travel from far away hoping to catch a trophy-sized fish. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a popular ice fishing destination, with many fishing shacks set up across the lake. If you love to ice fish - you may want to try your luck on our lake.
🏖 Kinosoo Beach is one of the largest natural sandy beaches in Alberta. We also have a beautiful marina with walking trails along the lake. Worth a drive to see.
4 Wing Cold Lake is one of Canada's busiest air force bases, where fighter pilots train on CF-18 jets. Look to the skies and you may see them or check out the runway a few blocks from the J.J. Parr Sports Center
🛢 The Cold Lake region is also known for its oil sands and energy industry, which plays an important role in Alberta's economy.
